Today, my first daughter, Felicia, is turning 11.
OMGosh, can’t believe I have a pre-teen daughter! Where’s my baby-girl gone? Am I ready having a pre-teen? Honestly the answer is NO. However, she’s pre-teen already, whether I’m ready or not.
My friends who struggling with their teenage daughters warn me about how difficult to teach their daughter to be safe while encourage their self-esteem.
I realize how important a positive self-esteem in our children. Low self-esteem can lead to emotional & mental issues, also prevent them to living a meaningful life and accomplishing God-given destiny. Thus, I will make sure she know her strength and weakness, how to develop her strength character and minimize her weakness. I want her appreciate herself, not comparing herself to others, having possitive attitude and able to accomplish God-given destiny.
For that reason, I made a mini album, which I listed 10 good things about her, here:
It’s 20% off until Sept 9, 2010
